Privacy policy

This document describes, as they actually stand, the data processed by RankScopeWorld. It contains no declaration of compliance with any particular regime.

Controller

The site is published by a natural person resident in Morocco. Contact regarding personal data goes exclusively through the contact form; no personal postal address and no telephone number are published.

Data collected

The site has no user account, no sign-up, no newsletter and no profiling.

Only the contact form sends information to the publisher. The name, e-mail address, subject, message and the page from which the message was written are then transmitted.

Cookies and trackers

The site sets no cookie. No analytics tracker, no advertising component and no personalisation tool are installed, and no data is stored in the browser (no localStorage, no sessionStorage). Where display preferences exist, they are read from the page address and are not retained.

This is why no consent banner appears: in the site's current state there is nothing to consent to. If an analytics or advertising service were added, an explicit choice would then be offered and this page updated.

Purposes and recipients

Messages received through the form serve only to answer them: a reply to a question, a correction of information, a reported error. They are never used for marketing or advertising, and are neither sold nor transferred.

Service providers

• LWS — hosting of the site's files (France).
• Formspree (formspree.io) — receiving and forwarding contact-form messages to the publisher. The form is submitted only on the explicit request of the person using it.
• World Bank and other public sources — origin of the statistical data displayed, consulted and published under open licence.

Formspree acts as a processor: it processes messages solely on the publisher's behalf. This processing is hosted in the United States (Amazon Web Services); Formspree states that it relies on standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the European Union.

Data about the personalities listed

The profiles concern public people and organisations, using sources that are themselves public (rankings, official websites, statistical agencies). This information is not collected from the people concerned.

The site publishes no private contact detail: no home address, no private telephone number, no family details and no information presumed confidential. Anyone listed can request a correction or removal through the contact form.

Retention period

Messages received through the form are kept for no more than twelve months from the last exchange relating to the message, then deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to the information you sent, its correction or deletion, and object to any use other than replying to your message, by using the contact form.

No account creation is required to exercise these rights.

Security and limits

The site is static: it stores no data on its own server beyond the files that compose it. Transmission nonetheless depends on the service providers listed above. No absolute security guarantee is claimed.
