Editorial independence and monetisation
The site is freely accessible. It offers no donation option, no subscription, no paid content and no account creation, and never requests payment.
No advertising network is currently installed and no advertising script is loaded. The funding model under consideration relies on advertising (Google AdSense) and, where relevant, on clearly identified affiliate links. Should these be put in place, they will be disclosed to the user and will determine neither the categories, nor the people, nor the ranks published: the editorial selection remains independent.
No financial consideration is accepted in exchange for a slot, a rank or a mention.
Governing law
The site is published from Morocco by a person resident there. It is written from a French and European perspective: French law, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and CNIL guidance form the editorial framework adopted for this notice and for the protection of personal data.
Choosing that framework does not predetermine the law that a court might apply: other provisions, notably Moroccan ones, may still apply depending on the circumstances and the place of consultation. The publisher's public anonymity as a natural person is maintained, subject to applicable legal obligations.
